CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR – INBOUND SALES

About the role

At the core of this role is ensuring continued customer satisfaction and being a key ambassador of our brands. To succeed in this role, you will need to be solution driven and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experience. This role is perfectly suited to someone that has a solid track record delivery of exceptional customer service in a call centre environment. This position has a clear succession plan into the Customer Service Supervisor for the right candidate.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Customer Liaison: providing timely and accurate response and resolution to client’s queries
  • Customer Database Management      
  • Order Management: processing and monitoring daily order flow phone/email
  • Handling sales and after sales requests in line with our procedures and policies
  • Staying updated with new products and launches
  • Assisting with day to day administration duties and other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

  • 3 + years’ experience in sales or customer service/call centre environment
  • Previous experience with Attaché (or similar ERP) will be regarded favourably, although not a pre-requisite as system and product training will be provided
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience within in the optometry or similar industry will be highly regarded

Negotiable salary on experience. Hours are rostered between 8.30 am to 5 pm, Mon-Fri.
